KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Execution of the Systems, including ASRS and JBT equipment for the RESS Battery Program.

    • Responsible to manage Timing / Runoff / Shipment / Installation / Qualification / PPAP / Issue Closure / SORP / Launch Deliverables / Drawings / Lessons Learned / etc.

    • Follow standardized processes as defined in PoME for Program Execution



  • Updates / Optimization to overall plant material flow and material presentation

  • Update area of responsibility and participate in the Launch wall meetings

  • Support the SMLBS (GSC labor) studies, Part Handling Forum Workshops & MTS updates

  • Submit spending forecasts and track to plan

  • Support equipment installation board and review weekly / daily with OEM and contractors

  • Supports plant floor equipment installation, tracking and countermeasures

  • Completes plant floor debug and runoff for ASRS / JBT equipment.

  • Lead the Red tag, Yellow tag, and Green tag sign off activities for ASRS / JBT equipment

  • Develop plan & conduct equipment validation and PPAP with the Launch team

  • Support the PPAP review meetings utilizing the PPAP checklist, capturing exceptions

  • Lead the lessons learned gathering activity and feedback the information to the Central IE team for BOE/BOP updates

  • Follows all safe operating practices

  • Safety Contract Management of OEMs

  • Responsible for regular SOT review of onsite OEMs

  • Dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of the Launch Deliverables to the final customer

  • Throughput Improvement (TIP) Implementation during launch

  • Support the closure of all ME open issues for Launch Deliverables

  • Continuous improvement to meet target metrics

  • Works closely with multi-disciplined teams to understand functional requirements, contribute to generation of innovative ideas, develop project plans and implement appropriate solutions

  • Communicates information to internal customers, quickly finds common ground with peers and solves problems for the good of the business

KEY QUALIFICATIONS



  • Technical knowledge and demonstrated ability in mechanical engineering discipline

  • Comfortable in dealing with conflict / conflict resolution.

  • Knowledge and ability to implement GMS principles

  • Demonstrates ability to learn and apply agile methodologies [SCRUM] throughout project

  • Demonstrates analytical ability, communication and interpersonal skills, required to build relationships with team members and customers to solve problems and resolve issues

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple and significantly complex projects and assignments with highest level of autonomy and accountability for results

  • Experience in troubleshooting equipment

  • High level of oral and written communication skills

  • High level of interpersonal skills to work independently and effectively with others

  • Effectively deals with ambiguity and copes with change

  • Minimum (7) years of manufacturing plant experience

  • Program Execution Experience in a Process Engineering Discipline

  • Controls Experience [Strongly Preferred]

  • Demonstrated skill in Problem Solving Skills [i.e. Red X, Ishikawa, 7 Diamond, etc]

  • Demonstrated ability to Lead execution activities with no oversight




EDUCATION:



  • Bachelor's degree with major in engineering or equivalent experience
