About This Role

Our technical product evangelists have a deep technical understanding of the data and analytics technology landscape as well as Teradata's solutions.  They work collaboratively with experts from across the organization to convert our collective knowledge into positioning, messaging, and assets that serve the needs of our most technical buyers and customers.   Our evangelists not only make their mark at Teradata... they are well respected industry thought leaders. As the subject matter expert, each evangelist not only creates impactful assets but they also speak and write on behalf of the company for their domain of expertise.

In this role, you will regularly engage with our go-to-market teams and our customers to ensure that we are delivering the best possible experience for our prospects and customers as they educate themselves about Teradata.   Important to ensuring that we benefit from the collective wisdom of the organization, you will foster and facilitate an internal community of experts in an effort to share best practices and create assets that drive significant impact.

  • Demonstrated deep technical expertise and the ability to communicate this knowledge to individuals from a broad range of backgrounds.

  • Ability to create sales enablement and technical collateral in support of the technical buyer journey

  • Build and deliver keynote style presentations that convey our technical differentiation in a way that excites others

  • Work directly with customers to gain a deeper understanding of their needs and collaborate with product management on our product roadmap

  • Plan and deliver ongoing technical thought leadership through mchanisms such as blogs, webinars, and technical case studies.
