Modis is seeking a Technical Support Specialist for a well known automotive brand in Hagerstown, MD. The technician provides business solution infrastructure support and end-user support for a specific production facility. This position occurs as part of the Onsite team within the Infrastructure and Onsite Support unit. It is necessary skills on MS-Windows, MS-Office, client network, PC and printer troubleshooting.
Some other responsibilities include:
Install, configure support: imaging and configuration of existing machines
Deploy new machines
Strong initiative. Biggest trouble has been finding the right driven worker to stay on and deliver.
Must be available to work Monday - Friday on the first shift, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM during the ramp-up phase (3-8 weeks). After that, it will be allocated to the second shift from 3:30 PM - 11:30 PM. The consultant will be put into the on-call coverage as well on a rotational basis and may have to work some weekends depending on production schedule.
Five years of experience supporting enteprise networks, LAN/WAN, desktop and technical support to end users.
