1) Responsible for providing support with onsite implementations and filling in for onsite clinic staff. Primary duties include but are not limited to:

  • Onsite and departmental reporting to clients and to WorkCare management
  • Onsite implementation(s)

    • Implement new onsite clinic site(s) in accordance with WorkCare’s philosophy, policies and practices.

    • Ensure employees have appropriate training and other resources to perform their jobs.

    • Ensure proper equipment is in place at onsite clinic, as directed by client.

  • Oversight/Management of assigned onsite clinic

    • Manage onsite clinic staff in accordance with WorkCare’s philosophy, policies and practices.

      • Ensure staff has proper and current credentialing

      • Review assessment components and frequency

      • Meet regularly with assigned staff

    • Provide performance management feedback to assigned clinic staff and report to Director of Industrial Athlete Program.

    • Review and collaborate on development of Policy and Procedures

    • Work with WorkCare’s Medical Director assigned to client/site on any clinical issues that need to be escalated.

    • Support/coordinate follow-up activities related to Incident Intervention cases from after-hours.

    • In accordance with coverage provisions within Client Agreement/Contract, actively work with WorkCare HR department to find temporary, coverage for absent clinical staff.

    • Provide regular reporting to Director of Industrial Athlete program and when appropriate the VP, Onsite Clinic Operations and coordinate client account management activities.

  • Onsite clinic fill-in as needed (rare):

    • To the extent possible, perform same or similar duties of absent clinical staff, and within applicable state licensure guidelines.

    • Providing additional occupational health duties as assigned.

  • Assist in business development for on-site locations:

    • Develops new sales opportunities by attending local, regional and national conferences, and identifies new prospects.

    • Utilizes marketing campaigns, leads, referrals, industry events and proactive research to prospect new clients.

    • Identifies new business opportunity venues and develops recommendations.

    • Devises innovative ways to generate sales leads and retain/increase revenue.

  • Consulting

    • Travel to locations within region

    • Perform Job analyses and create ergonomic risk analysis

    • Provide feedback to location on designing programs to meet ergonomic and safety goals

2) Provides reports on assigned clinic activities on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis to Director of Industrial Athlete Program and VP, Onsite Clinic Operations.

  • Encounter/Activity weekly and monthly reports

  • Attend and participate in weekly Onsite Staff Meeting with written reports

3) Performs other additional duties and assumes additional responsibilities as identified by supervisor for the efficient operation of WorkCare.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Required, Master’s Preferred.

  • Minimum of three (3) years experience in occupational health setting.

  • Current CPR/AED certification.

  • Degree and Certification in NATABOC, PT, PTA, OT, OTA or similar fields.

  • Must be competent in the Windows operating system environment, Adobe, Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and learn other software as needed.

  • Must be able to demonstrate the ability of maintaining privacy and confidentiality; critical thinking skills; make independent decisions based on strong professional and clinical judgment, in accordance to company policy and procedures; take initiative on issues that arise daily.

  • Demonstrate civility- employee shall work well under pressure meeting multiple and sometimes competing deadlines. The employee shall at all times demonstrate cooperative behavior with colleagues, supervisors and clients.

  • Must have the ability to maintain a professional approach with others in job demanding, multitasking and/or project support situations; ability to communiate effectively to a variety of audiences; the ability to create and edit written materials; the skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities; and the ability to gather data, compile information and prepare reports.
