A Business Domain Enterprise Architect is a fulltime position within Architecture & Platforms - Enterprise Architecture Office team in 'Strategy and Governance' department of AMERICAS IT. This function will represent Enterprise Architecture office in Americas Zone, while ensuring full partnership with the global Enterprise Architecture & Platforms teams.
Business Domain Enterprise Architect will bring a broad, enterprise-wide view of the business and varying degrees of appreciation for strategy, processes, and capabilities, enabling technologies, and governance.
Will take on the business-outcome-driven approach representing a shift in course starting with the business in mind, while enabling the IT Demands, projects, and product and initiatives.
Partner with BRMs, DSOs, CIOs, PMO's and delivery functional representatives including IT/Business leadership and stakeholders.
Lead the business and technical architecture animation and articulation linking to the business capabilities, Macro processes, IT applications, and services interconnectivity.
Form a trusted relationship with Business and IT Stakeholders, while enabling and accelerating value driven business outcome.
Contribute to the definition of architecture principles, patterns and best practices, while participating to domain governance body and contribute to service KPI monitoring.
Consult, Co-create and/or deliver architecture design for key demands, projects, products with embedded architect Alliance.
Provide business and technical architecture expertise on-demand to all Business and IT functions, while positioning as trusted advisor.
Align key business domain stakeholder on relevant architectural topics.
Educate, mentor and train architects, BRMs, DSOs, and PMs.
Create, animate, and enhance global community of architects, articulating expert network
This role combines Business acumen and Information Technology, with ingenuity and would best be filled by someone with a business and technical background.
The ideal candidate will be motivated and a detail-oriented professional who can lead architecture governance contributing to the domain / solution design, deployment, run and change processes.
The ideal candidate must have a thriving passion for the next generation transformative and innovative architecture, application, and data governance.
Understand business drivers and work closely with business to understand their strategy and translate that into an IT environment.
Build Blueprint, designing and using an EA framework (like TOGAF), and mastering modelling languages used for blueprinting (BPMN, Archimate)
Partner architecture governance body by reviewing a demand, project, and/or product architecture and align on improvements/solutions based on best practices and aligned IT Strategic directions.
Own and lead Application Rationalization, and Application portfolio mgmt. (APM) governance for the AMER zone, in adherence of the global governance guidelines.
Contribute to development of the technical specification documents and/or position papers
Animation of Architect Alliance function and application owner community
Build strong relationship with a Business / IT stakeholders including BRMs, DSOs, CIOs, Delivery Functional leads, executive leadership, and solution vendors/partners', while ensuring continuous learning and knowledge sharing through internal and external expert network.
Demonstrated ability to build consensus among many stakeholders by leveraging strong leadership, negotiation, and technical skills
Ability to establish, implement, and enforce appropriate IT standards to meet business requirements
Ability to "think big" and challenge conventional wisdom regarding technology refresh and hype
IT strategic development skills
Understanding business models while applying the design and systems thinking
Understanding and performing strategic, tactical, and operational tasks.
Comfortable with ambiguity and willing to take principled bets on new technology
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
B.S. degree in Information Technology or other technical discipline or equivalent work experience
Minimum 7 years' technical experience in IT for CPG, manufacturing, media, healthcare, or banking Company
Minimum 5 years in an architect and engineering capacity coordinating complex, multi-group projects with team members in geographically dispersed location.
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle including; waterfall, scrum, and Agile would be plus
Tech platform expertise: ServiceNow APM/ITBM/ITSM, API / Apigee - API authentication model (oAuth, SAML federation), Tibco MDM, ESB, IBM MFT, Informatica PowerCenter/BDM, Power BI, Google looker, BigData, PowerBI, DOMO, Data warehousing, data governance, DevOps, and cloud services (e.g. IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS) across public cloud providers (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP, SAP and SalesForce)
