Job Description:

Schaeffler, a global automotive and industrial supplier, is seeking a Pack Line Operator in Fort Mill, SC. This position is responsible for packaging parts and assemblies according to established work instructions, control plans, check sheets, or other instructions.

Key responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Measure parts with tape measure, prepare packaging materials correctly
• Maintain organization and efficiency in the work area.
• Lift materials of various sizes manually or with hoist
• Create packing labels using a computer system

Qualified candidates will have:

• Ability to work as part of a team
• Able to work in a safe manner
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and work to quality standards
• Understanding of lean manufacturing principles such as production costs, waste, downtime, scrap, re-work, and 5S
