Division Overview

Hubbell Power Systems (HPS) engages in the design and manufacture of a wide variety of products used by utilities. Today, HPS is deeply engaged in product solutions for OSP Communication utility purposes, and has been actively growing that segment of the business. HPS roots have historically been in high voltage transmission, distribution, substation, underground products used by electric utilities. HPS products are also used in the civil construction, transportation, gas and water industries.

Position Overview

Ensure that orders are shipped accurately and in a timely fashion to meet Hubbell Utility Systems monthly goals. Provide excellent internal and external customer service and be willing to be flexible when scheduling both full truck loads and LTL's. Must also ensure bill of lading is accurate and maintained.

1st shift Monday through Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm plus overtime

$17.19/hour and at 90 days of employment $17.71/hour

$1,000.00 retention bonus paid at 100 days of employment

Duties and Responsibilities

• Communicate with Assembly department on orders that are both ready to be shipped and coordinate the time orders are going out


• Willingness to accommodate early or late scheduling which will require overtime


• Excellent internal and external customer service skills

Skills and Experience

• Excellent written and verbal skills


• SAP experience preferred


• Understand terms used in billing


• Basic math skills


• Use Microsoft Office


• Use UPS system to make labels and ship out items from plant


• Ability to use standard office equipment, printer, phone, calculator and computer


• Flexibility in scheduling based on customer need

Education

High School Diploma
