Description
Position summary:
The Mechanic position will be responsible for proper maintenance and troubleshooting of all HydroChemPSC equipment. This position must adhere to preventive maintenance schedules and accurately document all required elements of work.

Essential duties:
Improve our service quality of equipment to meet or exceed customers' expectations.
Service and repair heavy trucks, hydroblast pumps, large pumps and ultrahigh equipment.
Perform preventative maintenance on branch equipment and vehicles.
Maintain records on DOT chassis inspections.
Promote HydroChemPSC safety, environmental and operational policies and procedures at all times.
Complete and file all related paperwork requirements in an accurate, timely manner.
Work on-call hours and travel as needed to accommodate customer needs.
Perform additional related duties as assigned and needed.Trains Technicians and Operators on-the-job in equipment operation, service line processes and necessary paperwork.

Working Environment:
Industrial ship environment, outdoor and office environment.

Qualifications
Educational requirements:

  • High school diploma / GED or equivalent experience.

Skills and experience:

  • 3-7 years of mechanical experience preferable with industrial cleaning equipment used in hydroblasting and vacuum truck operation.

  • Strong working knowledge and experience with heavy truck and positive displacement pump repair preferred.

  • Valid driver license with clean driving record and ability to obtain Class A CDL.

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.

  • Knowledge of safety policies and procedure a must.

  • Must qualify for and obtain a Transportation Workers Identification Card.
