Job Summary:
Responsible for providing personal assistance and routine daily care and services related to the residents in accordance with the Resident Care Plan
Provides for activities of daily living by assisting with serving meals, feeding patients as necessary and ambulating, turning, and positioning patients
Maintains patient stability by checking vital signs
Provides patient comfort by utilizing resources and materials, transporting patients, answering patient’s call lights and request; and reporting observations of the patient to nursing supervisor
Documents actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records
Maintains work operation by following policies and procedures
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, participating in professional organizations, and maintaining licensure.
Preforming other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Ability to work under pressure and relate well to residents
CPR certification a plus
Excellent bedside manner
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience working with an electronic health record system
Current active certification required
