THIS IS A TEMPORARY/SEASONAL POSITION WITH A TENTATIVE START DATE OF NOVEMBER 15, 2021 THROUGH THE TENTATIVE END DATE OF APRIL 30, 2022.

A Retail Associate/Barista is responsible for assisting guests and selling merchandise in a timely, friendly and efficient manner in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.

What will I be doing?

As a Retail Associate, you would be responsible for assisting guests and selling merchandise in a timely, friendly and efficient manner in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:


  • Greet and acknowledge guests upon arrival in the shop
  • Demonstrate knowledge of merchandise, styling and pricing
  • Accurately total, process and collect payments from guests to include, but not limited to, using the point-of-sale system, handling money, processing credit and debit cards, making change and processing gift certificates and cards
  • Wrap merchandise and pack orders for shipping
  • Assist in conducting inventory and ensure adequate merchandise supply levels
  • Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
  • Brew, sell, promote and prepare beverages according to established recipes and standards
  • Take guest beverage orders and accurately input orders in appropriate point-of-sale system

As Purchasing Clerk, you would be responsible for stocking and purchasing materials for the hotel in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:


  • Stocking ALL materials and products.
  • Establish, manage and maintain supply levels for the hotel
  • Adhere to established procedures and policies in purchases
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, local and company regulations regarding storage, safety and sanitation
