Job Description:

Janitorial Floor Care Technician

 

Main office located in Burlington, NC

Work sites are dispersed throughout the county but will leave from main office daily.

Part-Time - Monday - Friday 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm

Rate: $12 an hour

Qualifications:

• Must be able to pass a MVR (Motor Vehicle Report)


• 1 year of flooring experience preferred - not required 

Position Responsibilities: Include any or all of the following. Other duties may be assigned by the supervisor. Job description subject to change.

• 
  

  Operating buffers, super stripper, low speed, carpet extractors, and automatic scrubber to keep up with floor care in buildings.

  
  


• 
  

  Cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies.

  
  


• 
  

  Assists in the completion of the workload in the absence of others.

  
  


• 
  

  Assists in project cleaning of buildings which includes: lifting and removing furniture from rooms, refinishing hard surface floors, shampooing carpets, cleaning blinds, light fixtures/shields, washing walls, windows, doors, and furniture.

  
  


• 
  

  Operates various types of equipment and machinery, which include wet vacuums, hand trucks, vacuum cleaners, carpet extractors, floor buffers, automatic scrubbers, etc.

  
  


• 
  

  Reports any malfunctions and maintenance problems to the supervisor. Discusses work problems and/or schedule problems with the supervisor and/or management.

  Provides assistance with any outside cleaning chores, which may include sweeping sidewalks, and picking up trash.

  
  


• 
  

  Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
