Job Description:

Overhead Door Company of Atlanta™, a DH Pace Company, Inc., aspires to hire a Delivery Driver/Warehouse Associate in our Peachtree Corners office. This individual will be responsible for ensuring materials are loaded and delivered to job sites on time. Perform warehouse related duties such as receiving, stocking and shipping materials.  Accountable for maintaining clean and safe working environments as tasks are performed.

Job Responsibilities:

Delivery Driver:

• Verify items and quantities material quantities loaded on to truck for delivery or from pick up.


• Check materials prior to loading and unloading for damage.


• Ensure materials are properly loaded and secured thereby minimizing damage during transportation.


• Develop product knowledge to ensure correct materials are loaded and taken to job site.


• Ensure that all paperwork and data entries completed and submitted on a daily basis.


• Receive COD payments from customers; obtain appropriate signatures to verify delivery and acceptance of materials delivered.


• Maintain logs and monthly mileage reports


• Remain knowledgeable of Department of Transportation regulations and follow them accordingly.


• Follow established credit and collection policy and procedure.

Warehouse:

• Receive and stock inventory


• Pull orders


• Maintain accurate inventory


• Ship ordered material


• Other duties may be assigned

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required


• Must be able to safely lift 70 lbs


• Must be at least 21 years of age


• Must have experience driving a box or step van (aka bread truck) style trucks


• Must be able to drive a manual transmission.


• Must be able to obtain a DOT card


• Must be able to operate a forklift and or reach truck


• Valid driver’s license with at least a 3-year clean driving record


• Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers and represent the company in a professional manner


• Customer Service skills
