 The Defined Contribution Benefit Associate is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of distributions received from participants within Defined Contribution plans (401k, etc). The role will involve the review of source documents from various workstreams as well as the ability to use sound judgement in the decision-making process. The review and determination of requests in good order will vary across distribution types and requires attention to detail. 

Key Functions of the Position:

o   Candidate must be organized with strong communication skills.

o   Must be willing to learn new skills.

o   Must be adaptable and embrace changes in processes and technology.

o   Must have the ability to consistently meet individual quality and production standards and adhere to standard operating procedures.

o   Candidate must be able to adhere to IRS guidelines, as well as standard operating procedures and plan rules.  Training and support will be provided by all peer groups.

o   Must be able to receive instruction and guidance from peers and Senior team members and work comfortably with teammates.

o   Demonstrate a continuous sense of urgency on these time sensitive requests.

o   Overtime may be needed during peak volumes.

o   Responsible for outbound and inbound communication discussing participant requests.

Qualifications:

o   Degree or 2 years of transaction processing experience in a fast-paced environment preferred.

o   Attention to detail is critical.

o   Must have strong organizational and communication skills.

o   Computer proficient with intermediate skills in Word and Excel (must be able to create spreadsheets using some advanced functions). 

o   Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to successfully partner with other areas. 

o   Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are a must.

*Note: Prudential is required by Colorado law to include the salary range for this role when hiring a Colorado resident.

Salary range specific to Colorado: $42,500-57,400 + discretionary incentive bonus + benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance. In addition, employees are eligible for standard benefits package including paid time off, medical, dental and retirement.
