Job Description:

Role: Scrum Master/ Business Analyst

Cognizant is looking for a  Scrum Master / Business Analyst in developing customized product for our clients. The role is expected to drive technology discussions and analyze the current landscape for gaps in addressing business needs. Cognizant needs a motivated individual to challenge the status quo and provide thought leadership/best practices to enhance our current services and technologies.

An ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working in a fast paced, collaborative environment.  Someone that values the “team” and leverages the opinions and expertise of their teammates to deliver quality.

Deliverables:

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies and Agile practices for internal project team


• Support business owners to refine and prioritize epics and backlog items


• Facilitate and drive requirements clarification with team


• Ensure all requirements and acceptance test criteria are documented and shared with the team


• Ensure Agile tools and processes are continuously key up to date to track team velocity and trends


• Scrum Master Business Analyst and Project Manager will run Agile/Scrum Ceremonies


• Create user stories in combination with engineering leads


• Identifies and closes architectural gaps in conjunction with engineering leads


• As a Scrum Master Business Analyst and Project Manager, you will align customer experience with engineering solutions


• Aligns dependencies and prioritizations with upstream and downstream stakeholder teams


• Owns commitment of dates


• Track and communicate risks and issues


• Understanding of effort involved to complete an engineering task to be able to provide estimates


• Scrum Master Business Analyst and Project Managers create and utilize metrics to improve customer experience, system reliability, and team performance
