Position Objective

The Marcoms Manager - Vertical Markets (Education, Healthcare, Legal, Finance industry focus) position sits within the Branding & Content, ICW team, which reports into the wider Marcoms Group. Responsible for strategizing, managing and implementing branding, campaign and content development initiatives to support targeting specific vertical markets. This role will be key in determining communications tactics, based on data-informed decision making, and managing programs to generate leads for the Sales organization.

Essential Job Functions


  • Play a leading role in determining the corporate story for the different vertical markets based on the overall brand story, ICW

  • Work closely with the different practice / vertical markets teams to manage key solution / product launches and develop the marketing communications, brand and content strategy to help drive MQL and SQL within the SMB customer segment

  • Keep a pulse on the market situation and researching / anticipating key trends pertaining to the different vertical markets in order to determine the key thought leadership insights / communication platforms to shape Marcoms programs

  • Act as a Marcoms consultant to other areas of the business to determine / provide advice on the most effective tactics / programs to support activities based on resources, timings and budget

  • Collaborate with the wider Marketing Teams to help implement multi-channel campaigns to support activities - this includes Marcoms Team, Digital Marketing, Channel Marketing and Learning and Development

  • Create and manage all marketing materials and collateral for the vertical market in line with brand direction - this includes developing content in accordance with customer segmentation requirements and customer value propositions

  • Analyze marketing ROI to help understand performance and determine changes required to programs / activities

  • Supporting our Corporate Events and Partnership team with communication activities as required

  • Manage communications spend for individual area and work with vendors and agencies, to create and/or localize communications and marketing activities and develop supporting assets

  • Experience hiring, guiding and managing agencies and freelance staff

Experience, Educational Reqts and Certifications

* 5-10 years channel B2B marketing experience, preferably with IT background

* Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or related field

* Proficient with computer programs, including Microsoft Office applications

* Budget management

* Strong organizational skills, ability to follow up and high attention to detail

* Experience managing integrated marketing campaigns

* Solid understanding of sales and business processes

* Ability to interact with other marketing teams to interpret and frame business needs into communications strategies

* Has capabilities to interact regularly with other people within and outside the organization in planning, coordinating and executing marketing communications campaigns

* Thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented, and fun, work environment

  • Up to 25% domestic travel required. Must maintain travel documents up to date.
