Your Responsibilities

As an Industrial Engineer for Seeding-Valley Citylocated in Valley City, ND, you will...

• Be the Industrial Engineering (IE) Subject Matter Expert for John Deere standards and processes
• Provide IE on- site training
• Provide IE coaching/mentoring/auditing
• Be responsible for simulation development and project management to drive process optimization

What Skills You Need

• Ability to work well within a team environment and among different levels of the organization
• Knowledge of process and industrial engineering practices, systemsand tools
• Ability to champion and improve overall product flow and line design within the factory, working through and directing projects from start to finish
• Ability to apply lean manufacturing concepts and tools to eliminate waste
• Understanding of design and balancing of mixed model lines
• Project management skills including planning, scheduling, resource estimating, budgeting and implementation
• Experience with engineering tools, systems and databases, especially SAP, MPPlanner and/or WPlannerand simulation programs

What Makes You Stand Out

• 3 or more years of Industrial Engineering experience
• Understanding of the Enterprise Product Delivery Process (EPDP)
• Experience in one or more related engineering areas: industrial, production, methods, reliability, design, manufacturing, warehousing and distribution, quality
• Experience with line and process design, material presentation, cycles of imbalance and visual management tools

Education

Ideally, you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial, Ag, Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering
