| Description |
VSolvit LLC is seeking to add a Technical Writer/Editor 11 to lead our on-site team on a full-time basis in support of our US Navy customer for which we provide multiple types of support. This role will be focused on the Technical Manual Support Services for the Aegis Weapon System (AWS) and located at Port Hueneme CA with possible occasional meeting in Ventura CA. The Technical Writer/Editor 11 will be responsible for accurately editing both format and structure for Technical Manuals for the Department of Navy. You will produce structured electronic manuals in SGML, XML and S1000D in compliance per Navy approved DTDs. You will create or edit technical graphics for insertion into Technical Manuals. In this position you will be part of a team that is key in providing detailed and precise Technical Manuals for the Navy (Ships, Subs, Military Watercraft, and Unmanned Systems). IMMEDIATE REQUIREMENTS U.S. Citizenship Active Secret Clearance Required (or ability to reinstate one within the past 24 months) Must be able to pass a Background Check |
