QA Technician I-2nd Shift 3:30pm-Midnight at PAC Worldwide

Job Description:

Summary:


Fulfillment quality tech performs quality inspections to ensure all products are consistent with all established quality standards.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


* Generate all fulfillment work order packets. Include required printed documents, labels, stickers, and materials


* Conduct first-off quality checks at the beginning of every work order and beginning of every shift.


* Conduct random quality checks at each production line to insure that the product meets all established quality standards for integrity, proper application, placement, and general overall appearance. Collect samplings of finished goods to ensure these quality standards are being followed


* Document quality check findings and list actions taken


* Document quantity of products and materials that fail to meet the specified quality standards on each fulfillment work order. This includes placing the substandard materials on hold, generating the necessary documents and overseeing the product/materials to a designated quarantine area


* Inspect fulfillment documentation for accuracy and to assure all quality policies and procedures are followed.


* Communicate and turn over any manufacturing quality issues to the PAC WW Middletown Quality Department


* Assist in the investigation of customer complaints


* Assist the fulfillment department in the training of current or transferred employees as needed. Provide training on quality programs or procedures


* Assist in developing and revising departmental Process Instructions


* Ensure departmental compliance to the PAC Quality Management System


* Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:


General:


* Must be capable of reading work instructions


* Must be capable of reading safety rules


* Must be able to adapt and work efficiently in a fast-pace environment


* Must be capable of maintaining good attendance



Education and/or Experience:


* Must have a high school diploma or its equivalency


* Knowledge of spreadsheets, E-mail, and data base software.



Language Skills:


* Must be able to read, speak, and write English with good interpersonal skills


Mathematical Skills:


* Must be capable of performing addition, subtraction, multiplication and division calculations.



Reasoning Ability:


* Must possess good organization and time management skills and practices
