Description:

We are seeking a friendly and compassionate Transportation Associate to provide safe transport services to the participants of our Neighborhood PACE Plan. Transportation Associates will be responsible for assisting participants into our company vehicles and some heavy lifting is required (30-50lbs). Must have great communication skills, the ability to work independently and to make common sense decisions. Position will also include
• Offers emotional and physical support to frail elderly patients and families.
• Transports participants to/from inside their homes to/from the assigned PACE Day Health Center or appointment (via stair chair carry, wheelchair or walking assistance).
• Properly secures participants, equipment and other items in the van prior to operating the vehicle.
• Operates vehicle(s) in a manner that meets the EBNHC transportation requirements.
• Maintains vehicles and adjunct equipment in a manner that meets the EBNHC transportation requirements.
• Performs other related duties as required.
Schedule is 36.25 hours/week, Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Union protected position and includes a sign on bonus of $500 along with additional perks and benefits

Education

• HS Diploma/GED


• Valid MA driver’s license (No CDL Required)

Experience

• Excellent driving record and van driving experience.


• Must successfully pass a Department of Transportation approved medical examination prior to hire date.
