Your Responsibilities

As a Forecast Accountant for John Deere Information Systems located in East Moline, IL, you will have the following responsibilities:


  • coordinate the month-end closing process with GLSS, including the review of monthly results and preparation of exhibits, as well as PLR reporting.
  • Work with supervisors and managers to maintain departmental SA&G forecasts and monitor annual budget activities.
  • Provide financial counsel to IT product management professionals, including for the JD-DBS AFE.
  • Provide financial modeling and analysis for ad-hoc requests.

What Skills You Need


  • 4 or more years of experience in an accounting, finance, and/or audit role
  • Strong communication skills, time management skills, problem solving skills, and attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently
  • Ability to synthesize information into relevant conclusions
  • Financial analysis experience

What Makes You Stand Out


  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas and financial modeling
  • Proven process improvement capability
  • Broad background of business experience within or outside the Company
  • Proven adaptability

Education

Ideally, you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:


  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance discipline
