The HR Business Partner (HRBP) will align business objectives with employees and management in their designated Lab/BU and serve as a consultant to management on Human Resource related issues. The HRBP will act as employee champion, change agent, be able to assess and anticipate HR-related needs, and help develop integrated solutions, while helping support NTS' core purpose of helping customers deliver products the world can trust.
JOB RESPONSIBLITIES:
Formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value added services to management and employees that reflect the business objectives of the organization in the areas of Talent and Culture, Performance Management, Training and Development, Compensation and Benefits, HRIS, Diversity and Inclusions, Employee Communications and Relations, HR Compliance and Health, Safety and Security
Works closely with management in the implementation of corporate policies and objectives related to human resources, organizational and employee development at the business unit or division level
Consults with employees and managers to address root causes of human resources issues, attempting to resolve employee relations issues with a systematic approach.
Participates in company-wide programs and initiatives (e.g., salary review, workforce planning, and organizational change)
Assists senior management in the development of solutions through organizational development and cultural and process-oriented perspectives
May play a role in administering talent management and succession planning activity

Familiarity with ADP strongly desired
Strong interpersonal, negotiation and conflict management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities
Ability to understand issues and communicate effectively with clients
Being flexible, available, and approachable to interact with employees at all levels
Must be able to take initiative to identify and anticipate client needs and make recommendations for implementation
Must be a solid team player, demonstrated through participation, collaboration, and support
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or similar discipline preferred
3-5 years of experience working as an HR Business Partner, resolving complex employee relation issues
Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee relations, diversity, performance management, federal and state respective employment laws
Knowledge of HR compliance aspects, including AAPs, FLSA, etc., is a plus
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Test lab with exposure to sudden, loud noises

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
