HCP Contracts Manager

BIOTRONIK is looking to add a Heatlh Care Provider (HCP) Contracts Manager to our team.  This position will be responsible for managing the end-to-end HCP contracts process for both external (HCPs, customers) and internal stakeholders (teams including but not limited to marketing, compliance, legal, medical education & operations). This position will serve as the key contact and internal administrator for all HCPs who are engaged with BIOTRONIK before, during, and after the term of their agreements. In addition, the position will be responsible for ensuring compliance to BIOTRONIK policies as it pertains to creating, executing and managing HCP contracts through alignment with all relevant stakeholders. The HCP Contracts Manager will lead all day to day operations to ensure efficient business processes for contract creation, presentation to HCPs, follow up and payments. This position will be a subject matter expert on all elements both procedural and substantive tied to HCP contracting.

Your Responsibilities


  • Partner with cross functional partners to drive efficient HCP contracting process to meet the business needs and compliance requirements

  • Develop and maintain working relationships with all HCPs who are or will be on Biotronik HCP contract agreements

  • Lead continuous improvements in HCP contracting processes and tools to drive highest level of customer satisfaction both externally and internally.

  • Own and maintain the HCP contracting policy as well as make revisions in a timely manner to meet business needs

  • Respond to HCP customer requests/queries/internal stakeholder requests in a timely manner related to their contracts & agreements

  • Work closely with Finance and other key stakeholders to ensure timely payment as stipulated in HCP agreements

  • Analyze contracting activity data to prepare relevant reports for senior leadership on a regular basis

  • With collaboration from the Compliance Department develop appropriate self-monitoring activities to ensure compliance with industry standards and Biotronik policies.

Your Profile


  • Bachelor’s degree  

  • 8+ years related work experience 

  • Or, an equivalent combination of education and work experience.

  • Healthcare/Medical Device Industry Experience

  • Analytical Skills

  • Business Acumen as it relates to contracting 

  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with various internal/external stakeholders

  • Action Oriented – Enjoys working hard; is action oriented and full of energy for the things that he/she sees as challenging; not fearful of acting with a minimum of planning; seizes opportunities when they arise. 

  • Customer Focus – Is dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers; gets first-hand customer information and uses it for improvements in HCP contracting processes establishes and maintains effective relationships with customers and gains their trust and respect. 

  • Composure – Is cool under pressure; does not become defensive or irritated when times are tough
