Sonobuoy Systems is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to support our newly launched Weekend Shift. The Technician will evaluate quality against requirements and operator trainings against requirements for various Production programs.

Schedule: Friday - Sunday 6 AM - 6 PM

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Verifies Operator Training for all weekend shift employees.


• Completes audits of product built on weekend shift.


• As time allows, completes calibrations of mechanical items, completes process audits, assists with ESD and FOD audits.


• Interfaces with Production Team , Design and Quality Engineering to determine product acceptability.


• These roles perform a range of clearly defined procedures and will typically be considered skilled through on-the-job experience.


• Resolves routine issues without supervisory approval. Has developed skills through formal training and/or work experience

Required Skills:

• High School graduate or the equivalent


• Ability to obtain a US Government Security Clearance. Clearances are granted to US Citizens

Desired Skills:

• Experience in reading and understanding drawings


• Computer Skills: basic computer skills for recording information


• Must work as a part of a team and be able to productively interact with others
