POSITION SUMMARY

Maintain all aspects of receiving and shipping of spare parts for the TLD America Windsor hub. Responsibilities include safety procedures, shipping warranty orders, and shipping factory to factory parts.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

(Other duties may be assigned)


  • Follow warehouse procedures in compliance with TLD's policies and vision

  • Process receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance operations

  • Setup layout and ensure efficient space utilization

    • All parts require an assigned location within the warehouse



  • Cycle counts parts to maintain the accuracy of quantities and locations

  • Package and ship all types of spare parts

  • Utilize logistic company software programs

  • Adhere to all warehousing, handling, and shipping regulations

  • Maintain standards of health and safety

  • Operate forklift when required

  • Approve freight bills

  • Other assignments as designated by supervisor




QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:


  • High School diploma or equivalent required

  • Knowledge of shipping via freight and package carriers

  • Knowledge of proper packaging techniques to protect parts being shipped

  • Can identify Hazardous Materials

  • Strong written, verbal analytical and interpersonal skills

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office a plus

  • Use of BaaN ERP system a plus

  • Forklift operation

  • Understanding international processing, cultures, and shipping constraints is a plus
