About this Opportunity

As a Material Planning Agent - Associate working at Nemschoff, you'll be responsible for the planning, delivery, quality, and inventory investments of selected raw material and purchased products to support manufacturing needs and customer on-time shipments relative to suppliers.

What You'll Do

  • Travel to suppliers when required.

  • Assist with the development and control of inventory strategies and investments to support manufacturing needs while ensuring the best possible utilization of inventory space and dollars, as well as inventory accuracy.

  • Communicate with Accounting, Purchasing, and Finance to resolve pricing, transportation, set up charges, or other supplier-related invoicing issues.

  • Oversee the flow of purchased parts to manufacturing areas by coordinating and communicating with suppliers, Inventory Control, Production, Engineering, etc.

  • Support the development and implementation of new strategies relative to materials management processes.

  • Work with and support Supplier Development by providing updates and information to Supplier Development Managers and Supplier Commodity Managers.

  • Work with Operations, Engineering, and Quality to resolve quality-related issues as needed. You will be responsible for the resolution and communication of these issues with suppliers utilizing the NCM System and other resources as needed.

  • Perform additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives.
