The CAT Scan Technologist will work at a 300+ bed hospital continuously delivering exceptional patient care throughout the community. The Radiology department is comprised of board-certified radiologists, hospital administration, technologists, sonographers, and radiology educators who are all focused on providing top-notch care. In addition to providing outpatient scheduled procedures, the radiology department supports emergency hospital procedures 24/7. The Cat Scan Technologist will work a 4-12hour shift, working from 6:00pm-6:30am. As the Night Shift CAT Scan Technologist, this individual may be the only CT scan department resource after-hours, so the Cat Scan Technologist should feel comfortable running procedures with minimal supervision. The Cat Scan Technologist will prepare examination areas, properly position patients for procedures, adjust imaging equipment, assist physicians with performance of examinations, and operate computed tomography and radiology equipment. The CAT Scan Technologist should have prior Radiologic Technologist experience ideally working as a CT Tech, hold their ARRT certification and Maryland license as a Radiologic Technologist. Additionally, the Computerized Tomography Technologist will be confident when working independently, be detail oriented, and can effectively communicate with department staff, physicians, and patients.
