The Home Health Occupational Therapist will report to the Clinical Manager of Home Health and Rehabilitation. The Occupational Therapist for Home Health will provide direct patient care and develop, plan and implement therapeutic plans for all assigned patients. The Occupational Therapist will perform skilled physical and occupational therapy treatments to assigned patients in the patient’s residence.

Under the prescription of a physician, the Home Health Occupational Therapist will teach patients and their families therapeutic activities designed to improve and restore functional ability. The Occupational Therapist for Home Health will also be responsible for maintaining patient records and chats and will be compensated for mileage, drive time to reach patients as well as time to complete documentation.
