A beloved short term acute care hospital in picturesque New Mexico is actively seeking an Occupational Therapist OT to join their outstanding team!

This 95+ bed short term acute care facility, located in the beautiful state of New Mexico, is accredited by The Joint Commission and is a designated Trauma Center. This hospital offers a range of medical services, to include: 24-hour emergency care, a vast array of inpatient and outpatient surgery, inpatient adult/pediatric/geriatric medical surgical care, a 10+ bed intensive care unit, a full-service laboratory, rehabilitation services, diagnostic imaging, oncology services, and more. This facility is also an accredited Chest Pain Center.

The Acute Care Occupational Therapist will have the wonderful opportunity to work among an energetic and highly qualified team of therapists in this fast-paced rehabilitation department. The Occupational Therapist will provide rehabilitative services to patients with a variety of physical, emotional, and/or developmental impairments, working with the patient to develop the best plan of care to meet each individual’s needs. The OT will continually assess and evaluate the plan of care, monitoring for effectiveness and patient safety. This facility is prepared to move quickly with the experienced and energetic Occupational Therapist that is prepared to demonstrate their strong OT knowledge and critical thinking skills. Bachelor’s Degree is required for this role, and Master’s Degree is highly preferred.
