Arconic is currently in search of a Supply Chain Coordinaor to join our Arconic Architectural Products facility in Eastman, GA.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Primary Responsibilities

The Supply Chain Coordinator is responsible for compiling various reports, purchase order entry, preparation of order packets, researching variances and data comparisons to maintain accurate record keeping. The SC Coordinator will work as part of a larger SC team and assist with the administrative duties within the department. The SC Coordinator will receive guidance from SC Analysts, Master Scheduler and Supply Chain Manager.

Key Objectives


  • Run JIT and usage queries and make suggestions of quantities of raw materials to be placed on order
  • Enter POs for Raw Materials, oversee and coordinate delivery of product from suppliers, as needed
  • Daily processing of standard color shop floor packets and approving change request of standard colors. Communicating with Customer Service and Finance concerning change requests.
  • Running numerous daily reports for L1 and compiling data for weekly stockouts and DoD communication to other departments
  • Researching variances and running daily, weekly, and monthly integrities and be able to determine errors that need to be corrected to minimize those variances
  • Work with Corporate Transportation to add new carriers, as required
  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts within the department

  • MUST be highly skilled in Excel and Outlook
  • Ability to create concise, effective communications, with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage work in a fast-paced environment
  • Follows direction well and works efficiently
  • Must be organized, detail oriented, self-motivated, proactive and a team player
  • Exercise independent judgment to resolve issues in a timely and efficient manner

    Basic Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
    • Minimum of 1-year work experience in an office or warehouse environment

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Supply Chain, Logistics or similar field from an accredited institution
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Supply Chain, Logistics, Materials/Inventory Management, or related line of work
    • Previous experience with JD Edwards or Oracle software
    • 5 years work experience in an office environment
