A Reputable Community Hospital in Western Oregon is looking for a strong Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist CRNA. Join this amazing hospital in one of the most beautiful settings in America. 


The CRNA will be part of a community hospital that has been recognized for its comprehensive care programs: emergency services, oncology, orthopedics, pediatrics, radiology, urology and rehabilitation. This community hospital has received the national distinction of an ‘A' grade from the Leapfrog Group and has received the Gold Seal of Approval for quality and patient safety from the Joint Commission.  


The CRNA will be directly reporting to the Chief of Anesthesiology and will be working closely with a team of tenured and Locum Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists. The CRNA will also have the opportunity to work closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists and pain management specialists.   


The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist will be part of a faced paced environment that will include three operating rooms, emergency room, intensive care unit and the cardiac care unit. The CRNA will have the opportunity to work in a newly built facility, with all units equipped with state of the art technology. 


In this position the Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist will be responsible for the day to day operational activities of the units that will include, overseeing the patients safety as they recover from anesthesia and working with medical staff to develop pain management plans. The CRNA will educate patients about surgery ,recovery, preparing anesthetics for patients, administer medication and monitor the vitals of patients. The CRNA will assure best practice policies, procedures and educate medical staff in the provision of procedural sedation and emergency airway management. The CRNA will participate in the Anesthesia department quality improvement activities and organize and integrate with other related services or departments of the hospital.
