ECS is seeking a Systems Support III - Support TOC Datacenter to work in our Martinsburg, WV office.
Responsibilities:
Provides technical expertise and guidance with COTS products selection and implementation including software and hardware such as ERP, SCM, and CRM.
Develops and applies advanced methods in the configuration and customization of COTS solutions to meet business requirements.
Provides technical consultation to other organizations.
May provide daily supervision and direction to other COTS Technology Consultants.
Customer will require on-site data center support in the computing center(s) to perform tasks such as backups, server health monitoring and remediation with vendors, inventory, transitioning physical servers to virtual servers, routine network maintenance, testing, and other data center tasks using established procedures
Will require on-site or remote day to day repeatable data center support in the computing center(s) to perform daily tasks such as backup tapes, server health monitoring and remediation with vendors, inventory, transitioning physical servers to virtual servers, routine network maintenance, testing, and other data center tasks using established standard operating procedures
Required Skills:
U.S. Citizen and must have an ability to obtain and maintain IRS High Risk clearance. An active IRS High Risk clearance a plus.
Bachelor's Degree (or equiv or 7 yrs experience)
4-6 years' experience in similar field or in a related area assisting with personal computer and mainframe computer operating systems software and communication system software
Has specialized training and expertise and/or certifications with one or several COTS products such as Oracle, Siebel, SAP, PeopleSoft, and EMC.
Desired Skills:
Demonstrated performance in supporting business systems.
Under general direction, addresses system issues by implementing work-arounds and interim solutions to reported problems.
Primarily focused on supporting medium to large sized systems.
