Job Description

TheMobile Application Developerposition is responsible for maintaining, enhancing, and growing cross-platform hybrid mobile applications developed by Konica Minolta's Solutions Engineering Center (SEC) for iOS and Android. Qualified candidates should have experience working with Cordova and AngularJS. In addition, candidates should have experience working with Microsoft .NET Framework 4+, ASP.NET Core, and C# on the latest Windows operating systems. The ideal candidate should show the ability to think critically, gather information and problem solve in a team environment. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to join a team that takes agile development seriously. As a member of a small team, the successful candidate will be able to play an important role in the evolution of Konica Minolta's Dispatcher Phoenix while working with the latest technologies.

Essential Job Functions

  • Develop and maintain hybrid mobile applications for iOS and Android.

  • UtilizeCordova, AngularJS, Microsoft .NET Framework, ASP.NET and C#.

  • Generate application prototypes to test viability of requested projects.

  • Utilize public and private API's to extend existing products.

  • Utilize distributed version control in a team environment (GIT, Bazaar, Mercurial, or Darcs).

  • Perform other Software Development / Engineering work as needed.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related degree concentration.

  • 3+ years of Professional Software Development experience in developing cross platform hybrid mobile applications for iOS and Android.

  • Experience in Cordova.

  • Proficient in open web technologies like HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Node.js and AngularJS.

  • Experience in responsive UI development.

  • Experience in publishing or hosting mobile apps on Play Store and App Store.

  • Experience in developing native Android or iOS applications will be an added advantage.

  • Experience in .NET Framework 4.x and .NET Core Framework.

  • Experience programming with Visual Studio, C#

  • Experience consuming Web APIs using JSON and SOAP.

  • Experience developing customer facing components and APIs.

  • Experience with version control (preferably GIT),continuous Integration, deployment and configuration.

  • Perform other Software Development / Engineering work as needed.

  • Self-motivating and ability to work with minimal direct supervision.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

What we like to see:

  • Experience in writing PowerShell modules using Windows PowerShell scripting.

  • Experience working with Amazon Web Services (AWS).

  • Experience with Serverless and Microservices architectures.

  • Experience with container technologies like Docker.

  • Experience in C/C++ programming languages is a plus.

  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, SQLite, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.

  • Experience configuring and working with Virtual Machines.

  • Knowledge of configuring and maintaining Microsoft Active Directory.

  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks to meet the release schedules.

  • Individual who consistently delivers high quality results with minimal supervision and can provide guidance to others when needed.
