We are looking for a talented OptiTech & OTAP Services Product Manager to join our team specializing in Marketing for our Corporate Business Unit/ CBS Business Segment in Indianapolis, IN.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:


  • The OptiTech/OTAP Platform Services Product Manager is responsible for the launch and life-cycle management of OptiTech and supporting the Over the Air Programming (OTAP) capabilities to securely updated and reconfigure software systems of Cummins equipment, initially for EBU and NPBU products. These capabilities enable customers to increase uptime, improve performance, ensure legal regulatory compliance, as well as solve and prevent problems remotely.

  • This project manager is of our Platform Services Digital Product Management Team,

  • Meet business goals of the product to include market/customer acquisition and adoption targets, product performance and quality targets, financial performance, and customer satisfaction.

  • Get the product built through collaboration with Agile Release Trains and Solution Trains,

  • Collaborate with CDO software engineering and business stakeholders to deliver products to the market

  • Ensure OptiTech and OTAP offerings are supported and enhanced to create a continuous flow of value.  

To be successful in this role you will need the following: ​​​​​​​

• Outcome-oriented mindset.

• Ability to effectively communicate highly technical topics to non-technical stakeholders and effectively    communicate market and user requirements to technical stakeholders.

• Good and timely decision making that keeps the organization moving forward.

• Knowledge and practical experience with commercial software product lifecycle management and lean startup principles is required.

• Knowledge and practical experience with IoT- and Cloud-based product management or development – preferably in Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure IoT solutions.


  • Bachelor's Degreein Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, Marketingor related field from an accredited university/college OR 6 years of relevantexperience in lieu of degree required.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
