Construction Project Analyst

LOCATION:St. Louis, LC (1123)

DEPARTMENT: Corporate

REPORTS TO: Manager, Construction Planning & Design Corporate Facilities

PURPOSE OF POSITION:

The Construction Project Coordinator is responsible for working with various internal team members in developing Facility's timelines, schedules and oversee goals are met for all construction and simulator move projects. This position will coordinate local construction requirements with site facility managers at our approximately 33 domestic and 8 international locations;

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The following duties are essential to the successful and satisfactory performance of this job. Other duties may be assigned.


  • Work closely with the Construction Project Manager and Construction Planning & Design Manager in developing scopes of work, creating and monitoring project schedules and tracking critical milestones

  • Participate in project meetings to ensure assure project is delivered on time and in accordance with scope

  • Maintain project documentation, create and update reports, organize and schedule meetings

  • Act as the point-of-contact for facilities and communicate project status to all participants in a timely manner

  • Coordinate internal facility moves working with furniture vendors, IT, security, legal and other consultants

  • Update and maintain project information, develop department file management standards

  • Work closely with contractors & vendor on proposal reviews and contracts

  • Assist in the development of corporate design and construction standards to be used by all consultants.

  • Provide support on various special projects such as rebranding, signage conversions and concept development budgets & estimates

MINIMUM EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or Construction Management, preferred.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:

  • 5 years professional experience in Facilities or Construction Project Management.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:


  • PMP Certification


  • MS Project, MS Office Suite


  • Well-organized, efficient, good at multi-tasking and driven to succeed


  • Auto-CAD, Revit, or BIM experience a plus


  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.


  • Ability to read construction drawings and schematics.


  • Good understanding of construction permitting, scheduling, and quality control from a process perspective.


  • Ability to interact with various levels of management in a professional manner.


  • Capable of problem solving, independent thinking and decision making. Able to work on multiple deadlines and be flexible
