The Factory Sales Order Manager in HPE's Financial Services’ Asset Management organization supports pre-owned enterprise IT equipment sales order management in North America. Come join our innovative and growing team of professionals!

Responsibilities


  • End to End ownership of sales orders in your assigned area of responsibility.

  • Supporting Product Managers on new order initiation

  • Entering orders in ERP system

  • Obtaining and verifying customer documentation (sales agreements, etc)

  • Processing payments/credit checks

  • Coordinating with manufacturing warehouse and/or partner facilities on order availability, processing problems, status updates, etc.

  • Coordinating shipments and/or customer pick ups

  • Proactively communicate with the production and management team order status and identify important target dates to keep orders on track

  • Ensure receipt of all required documentation before releasing customer orders including review of sales agreements, PO, payment confirmation, credit checks, etc.

  • Apply overall knowledge of the business to resolve problems and/or escalate immediately. 

Required Skills/Competencies:


  • Expert level with Microsoft Excel to maintain large spreadsheets; build formulas to maximize efficiency; understand how to build and present graphs, charts and pivot tables

  • Understanding of Supply Chain Management concepts. These include Logistics and transportation and inventory management (multiple warehouses)

  • Maintain a strong relationship with product managers to maintain timely reporting to all customers

  • Understand contractual terms of each customer to apply to administrative procedures and all reporting externally and internally

  • Maintain a strong relationship with third party vendors to assure a smooth flow of timely reports to customers

  • Understand contractual terms of each customer to apply to administrative procedures and all reporting externally and internally

  • Understanding of related groups to work seamlessly (logistics, finance, CD, partners)

  • Strong organizational skills to maintain the flow of admin work into finance to recognize margin

  • Strong ability to communicate and explain sometimes complicated issues easily

  • An in-depth understanding of key operational policies, processes and methodologies

  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics ERP (D365) preferred

Education and Experience Required:


  • First Level University degree, preferably Business

  • 5 years’ experience in sales order management or in like roles/businesses
