Job Summary

The Material Planning and Logistics Analyst will be based in Sterling Heights, MI. The analyst is a critical role in the supply chain. The Analyst is responsible for analyzing customer requirements, ordering   components   from   the   supply base,  managing   inventory   and   closely   monitoring international logistics.  This person needs to be organized, able to work on several projects at once and think critically.

Here is a glimpse of what you’ll do:


  • Analyze customer requirements.

  • Order component parts from supply base.

  • Manage strategic inventory levels.

  • Oversee international logistics supply chain.

  • Provide exceptional customer service. 

  • Ability to work independently on-site and remotely. 

Here is some of what you’ll need (required):


  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience

  • Minimum of 3 – 5 years of experience in materials.

  • Experience working in an MRP System. 

  • Knowledge of Ocean Transportation. 

  • Strong Customer Service Skills, 

  • Ability to work at a fast pace and on several open items at once. 

  • Desire to work with international personnel.

  • Understanding of Covisint 

  • Experience in Automotive industry.
