Cognizant Technology Solutions is currently seeking a highly skilled Lead Security Architect who will lead the security transformation, transition project & develop/mentor security team, define cyber security references architectures & standards, also defining processes for ensuring overall security of the environment. Ability to work independently and remotely, with willingness travel for client engagements as needed.

Qualifications:

-  Ideal candidate should have 13+ years working on IT Security with 3+ years of leading Security Projects and be hands-on within the required technology stack for public cloud hosting

-  5+ years of hand-on experience in designing & implementing this technology in datacenter or cloud environments.

-  Strong hand-on troubleshooting experience in understanding & resolving technical issues arises in cloud environments

-  Have experience of using & designing technical architecture documents

-  Have prior experience working with Agile project management methodology using industry tools

-  Able to create project schedules & define dependencies, work with multi-functional teams & multiple stakeholders to complete project milestones

-  Good communication skills with subject matter expert on firewall, Antivirus, SIEM & Vulnerability management solution

-  Hand-on experience in designing & implementing Palo Alto next-gen firewall & its features like IPS, URL Filtering, Wildfire, Global Protect, Antispyware, DLP & SSL inspection.

-  Solid experience in designing & implementing Panorama solution and high availability for firewalls & panorama servers and various kinds of IPSEC VPN tunnels in Firewall’s

-  Demonstrable experience in monitoring & reporting firewalls & panorama servers

Responsibilities:

-  The successful candidate will lead the security transformation, transition project & develop/mentor security team, define cyber security references architectures & standards, also defining processes for ensuring overall security of the environment. 

-  Candidate will be responsible for consulting, designing & implementing infrastructure security stack containing Palo Alto firewalls with next gen features, Cisco AMP endpoint detection & response & Qualys guard vulnerability management solution, along with SIEM technology.

-  Will also be responsible for consulting, designing & implementing infrastructure security stack.

-  Understand client business strategy for security stack migration or green field implementation

Preferred Skills:

-  Nice to have industry recognized IT security certifications (CISSP, CEH, CISM, GSEC) or Cloud Security-specific certifications (CCSK, CCSP, Azure, AWS)

-  Palo Alto firewall PCNSE
