Segal, a leading HR and Benefits consulting firm, is seeking a Insurance Client Services Representative to join our New York City and currently remote-based insurance consulting team. The Client Services Representative plays a critical role in prioritizing and coordinating technical and operational support to the Segal Select team members. The candidate will have operational skills and abilities to include multitasking and working on an independent basis to effectively prioritize and self-manage the completion of assigned responsibilities and projects.

 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Process renewal and new business policy submissions including saving financial and supporting documentation and review for completeness, data entry and carrier/client email communication regularly through AMS 360 system

- Coordinate the accurate and thorough assembly of RFPs as well as timely final review and submittal which will include drafting responses within Practice and Segal guidelines and submittal within IT security guidelines in support of revenue enhancing initiatives

- Develop and continually maintain a Practice-wide schedule of insurance for top accounts and produce reports for client meetings

- Assist Practice Leader and Consultants with assembling, completing and generating stewardship reports for key clients

- Review, organize and bind insurance policy installments

-  Maintain Practice Level follow-up procedures and database for following up with carriers, clients, and internal contacts to facilitate efficient administration

- Develop your insurance industry knowledge and potential through our developmental programs

-Create presentations (including webinars, one-pagers, client presentations), document reports, special projects and communications- Remote working arrangements will be considered

 

- Undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Insurance or related field

- Minimum two years of experience in the insurance industry; previous experience within a Property & Casualty insurance services environment preferred

- Customer Insurance Service Representative (?CISR?) certification through the National Alliance for Insurance Education & Research strongly preferred

- Insurance license preferred

- High level proficiency in the use of AMS 360, Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint

- A demonstrated ability to function independently, effectively prioritize, and multitask while meeting multiple deadlines within mandated quality standards within a team environment

 - Strong analytical and detail-orientation; effective communication (written/verbal) and interpersonal skills with ability to interact effectively with a diverse audience of clients and employees.
