The SharePoint Developer will join our team in Fredericksburg, VA in their continued support of our federal law enforcement client. The selected individual work alongside the client team to devise and deliver IT infrastructure, engineering, implementation, operations, administration, system integration, and maintenance services to successfully accomplish the mission of the existing multi-agency center within the Department of Justice. The affiliated program serves as a hub for technical knowledge management across the law enforcement community, making current and emerging technical capabilities more widely available at the local, State, and Federal level.

Responsibilities:


  • Evaluating and applying SharePoint patches

  • Administrating and configuring SharePoint accounts and permission levels

  • Configuring timer jobs

  • Providing help support at the Tier I, II, and III levels

  • Applying STIGs and POAMs, as per the ISSO and security division

  • Supporting SharePoint web content Program Manager and IT Subject Matter Expert Specialist

  • Verifying data integrity

  • Developing and maintaining Sops, procedures, and website documentation as needed

  • Troubleshooting the internal and external portal malfunctions to main functionality

  • Supporting and maintaining software and database integration between SharePoint and the program’s inhouse applications

  • Monitoring SharePoint trend including, but not limited to, site usage and growth, as well as disk space usage and growth

Qualifications:


  • Active Top Secret security clearance

  • Bachelor’s degree in an Information Technologyrelated discipline or Communications, or equivalent specialized experience

  • Seven (7) years of experience as a SharePoint administrator installing, configuring, maintaining, upgrading, and managing SharePoint farms to include: site creations, site deletions, site collections migration, data migration between site collections, subsite exports and imports, and site collection restores

  • Active Microsoft rolebased certification

  • Experience in SQL Server, SSIS, XML, HTML, CCS, Visual Studio, and PowerShell

  • Knowledge of networking, IIS, Active Directory, DNS, and Windows Services
