The IT Lead Analyst – JDE Finance is responsible for supporting the finance functionality of the JDE ERP application and partnering with business users to enhance those applications to meet evolving business needs. Responsibilities include managing incidents, managing changes, troubleshooting and root cause analysis, performance tuning, application and data integration, and consulting with business users, IT peers, and project managers on projects of all sizes. The role reports to the Associate Director – Corporate Finance Applications but is expected to be able to work independently and collaboratively to support and continuously improve the system.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Collaborates with IT Business Relationship Managers (BRM) and Finance process leads to identify, qualify/quantify, and prioritize solutions to address business needs and improve business effectiveness
Functions as techno-functional lead and subject matter expert for the finance functionality (general ledger, fixed assets, accounts payable, and intercompany accounting) of the JDE ERP application including the integration of other applications and data
Performs analysis, design, configuration, testing, implementation, and support activities for areas of subject matter expertise
Continuously identifies and pursues opportunities to improve systems in terms of reliability, usability, and performance
Collaborates across functional, company, and geographical boundaries and influences and negotiates to provide effective support and deliver results
Leads projects of small to medium complexity and participates as techno-functional lead on projects of all sizes
Applies principles, concepts and practices of the IT Service Management (ITSM), Project Management Life Cycle (PMLC), and Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Proactively enforces worldwide and local security policies to ensure IT information assets are protected

Education/Experience Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Finance, or related field with at least 6 years of combined IT and/or Finance experience; OR Bachelor’s with Master’s degree and at least 5 years of combined IT and/or Finance experience
At least 4 years of experience working with JDE 9.x finance functionality with a minimum of 3 of those years in an IT capacity
At least 3 years of experience utilizing formal ITSM and SDLC processes and tools to manage service requests, incidents, problems, and changes
At least 2 years of experience utilizing formal PMLC processes to deliver projects
Experience with SAP Finance (in addition to JDE) preferred
Demonstrated experience preparing and executing test scripts
Demonstrated experience integrating applications and data
