RH is seeking an Inside Upholstery associate to assist in the manufacturing of high-quality furniture by applying padding and fabric to meet our product specifications.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Live Our Vision, Values and Beliefs every day
  • Transport frames to workstation and place onto work table, lift or bucks
  • Apply the appropriate padding or other materials to the frame using a staple gun, glue or other method
  • Apply the fabric and/or leather to the frame to meet the high-quality specifications of the piece and the required look of the style
  • Use hand tools, such as staple gun, mallets, clinchers and similar tools
  • Correct all mistakes on the piece before moving to the next work area
  • Apply webbing, springs or trim; inspect or label product; or any other task as required

OUR REQUIREMENTS

  • 3+ years of experience in a similar field
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to maintain consistent attendance and punctuality
  • Detail-oriented to uphold brand integrity

OUR PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms
  • The employee frequently is required to talk or hear
  • The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
  • The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles. The employee is occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Work environment is fully air conditioned.
