Job Description:

This position is full time Monday-Friday from 10:00am to 6:00pm. 

Hourly rate is: $16.00/hour

Under the supervision of the Center Director, the Administrative Assistant shall be responsible for working within the framework of Harbor Child Care, carrying out its functions, policies, and procedures that include, but are not limited to:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

The Clerical Assistant will provide support to the Center Administration.


  • Follow up on necessary documents for new and current file in compliance with NYS licensing regulations.

  • Filing

  • Data entry

  • Answer telephone calls as needed

  • Perform any other reasonable duty as needed for the cohesive operation of the HR Department

  • Position includes computer work in addition to all typical clerical assistant duties.

  •  Assists with various research projects and/or special projects.

  • Must maintain Confidentiality of files and incidents

Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.

Must have general PC skills.
