Supervises and monitors the pipeline of Small Business Administration (SBA) loans. Oversees the review process of SBA loan files for credit approval and closing settlements. Coordinates post-closing review procedures and takes responsibility in ensuring closing conditions are met.
Responsibilities/Duties
Project Manager for collaborating and executing the portfolios of prospective and existing SBA borrowers:
Manages the process of closing, auditing and packaging loan files.
Oversees and directs the implementation of the loan closing process to ensure all documentation is ready for Bank approval.
Reviews and coordinates the due diligence on guarantors for compliance under the SBA's SOP guidelines.
Engages communications with borrowers, brokers, title companies, appraisers and insurance companies for required reporting and review.
Manages the daily workflow to ensure that loan commitment deadlines are met.
Organizes the loan disbursement process, file maintenance, adjustments, reconciliations and other loan system functions.
Completes loan approval submissions under standard non-delegated authority.
Controls the closing pipeline and participates in loan committee meetings.
Independently schedules and directs loan closing proceedings in a timely manner.
Support the RM's and SBA closers in the tracking and clearing of loan/credit exceptions.
Draft the SBA Loan Authorization is accordance of the loan approval and SBA's SOP's.
Support the RM's with the management of monthly delinquencies.
Obtain loan approval through ETRAN under PLP Authority.
Expedite problem resolution for issues that may arise throughout the loan process.
Maintains superior customer service when obtaining all SBA documentation.
Assume other responsibilities or special duties associated with the function of the department as delegated by SBA Supervisor.
Oversee and collaborate with team members to ensure accuracy on all loans.
Facilitate post-closing disbursement and coordinate site inspections for construction draw requests.
Knowledge - Skills & Abilities
Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience
Five years' experience in Commercial Lending
Ability to read and analyze a loan approval and file to ensure that all documents and loan packages adhere to loan approval
Accurate typing and data entry skills
Working knowledge of ETRAN loan system
Working knowledge of General Ledger concepts
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Advanced computer skills in MS Office - Word, Excel and Outlook

Strong work habits with attention to detail and the ability to work on a team
