Resources for Human Development is OPEN and hiring for a Full-Time Assistant Director to join our program located in the Stroudsburg area. The Assistant Director will provide support, direction, and manage the overall day-to-day operation of the Crisis Residence, Telephone, and Mobile Crisis Program. Please note this position requires a 40 hour work week and rotating on-call responsibilities.

Responsibilities/Duties
The Assistant Director will provide administrative support to Unit Director, including but not limited to attendance of weekly management meetings, while representing the unit to internal and external stakeholders.
Establish and maintain positive relations with all stakeholders as the ambassador of New Perspectives.
The Assistant Director will work alongisde the Unit Director to ensures that all procedures and policies are adhered to, including supervision and leadership to all staff.
Provide on-call responsibilities 24/7.
Required Experience
Five Years Experience in a Mental Health related field,
Two Years Supervisory Experience
Required Education
Bachelor's Degree in a Human Services or related field of study.
Master's Degree preferred in Human Services or related field of study.
Required Qualifications
Valid Pennsylvania Driver's License
Program Summary
New Perspectives Telephone and Mobile Crisis Intervention Services provides assessment, crisis intervention counseling, crisis stabilization, referral and linkage with other services, and assessment of the need for emergency hospitalization at consumers' homes or at other community locations. The Medical Mobile Crisis Intervention Service provides a registered nurse and a mental health professional who, in collaboration with a licensed psychiatrist, assess crises related to consumers.
