Infosys is seeking an Automation Test Lead with experience in Java and Selenium,

As a QA Test Lead you will act as a validation and quality assurance expert and review the functionality of existing systems. You will conduct requirement analysis, define test strategy & design and lead execution to guarantee superior outcomes. You will also be required to design an optimal test environment to simulate real-time scenarios. Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of Information Technology experience
• U.S. citizens and those authorized to work in the U.S. are encouraged to apply. We are unable to sponsor at this time.
• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Foster City, CA or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in the US and Canada
• 4 years of experience with Automation Testing using Java and Selenium
• Experience with Testing strategies and Test Execution
• Knowledge and experience with full SDLC lifecycle
• Experience with Lean / Agile development methodologies

Preferred Experience

• Proficiency in at least one programming language with hands on experience (Java / C# / Python)
• Expertise in at least one web and mobile Test automation tools (Selenium, UFT, Sikuli, Protractor, Appium)
• Expertise in automation frameworks: Test NG, Junit, NUnit, Robot etc.
• Expertise in TDD and BDD frameworks: Gherkin, Cucumber

Good to have / Secondary:

• Ability to contribute to test tools development and architecture
• Proficiency in DevOps / CI-CD tools: Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, GIT / Stash
• Good understanding of various non-functional testing aspects: Resiliency, performance, scalability, availability, security etc.
• Expertise in end to end functional testing - Test Planning, strategy, execution, defect life cycle
• Proficiency in API Testing: REST, XML, JSON etc.
• Good knowledge in Linux / Unix and DB Validations / SQL

Desired characteristics:

• Problem solving and diagnostic mindset: root cause analysis and troubleshooting
• Self-motivated and ability to lead teams and drive initiatives
• Experience working in a fast paced SAFe agile/scrum development process. Experience working in Spotify model is added advantage
• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities at project l

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
