Summary:
The CPP Titanium Division is seeking a Business Analyst who will be primarily responsible for providing information and insight into the organization's supply chain and manufacturing processes by developing models and analysis from the data maintained within the organization's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems as well as various other information systems.

The Business Analyst collaborates with other departments, such as Operations, Accounting, Sales, and Planning, to create and configure workflows that allow the integration of business processes with the ERP and other information systems, documents procedures, and provides training/support on procedures to end users.

Essential Functions:
Business Process Support


  • Prepare and present recurring and ad-hoc reports, queries, BI, and analysis that support strategic decision-making by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
  • Effectively communicate and interface with management and personnel from a variety of disciplines including operations, sales, purchasing, shipping/receiving, accounting, and IT.
  • Evaluate business processes to identify bottlenecks and potential for error. Develop and implement processes, tools, automation, and controls to increase efficiency and reduce error. Create end-user documentation such as process narratives and/or flowcharts. Train and provide on-going support to end-users.
  • Interact with IT and application development staff to coordinate implementation of newly created functions and reports.
  • Drive utilization of ERP systems for order entry, production scheduling, shop floor management, and reporting processes. Provide day-to-day ERP systems support.
  • Maintain the integrity of manufacturing work instructions, lead times, bills of material, and standard costs within the organization's ERP systems.
  • Monitor and maintain work order and inventory records in the ERP. Participate in and support physical inventory counting processes.
  • Undertake project management activities when needed. Define project requirements; identify project deliverables, schedule, and milestones; marshal resources; track activity and resolve problems; report out on project progress.

ERP Applications Maintenance

  • Perform ERP and related business system transactions as required to support operations, supply chain, inventory management, and business system compliance.
  • Maintain knowledge and understanding of ERP applications. Research ERP Knowledge Bases to understand table structure and linkage between tables and processes. Execute necessary testing after SP updates are installed.
  • Interface with outside consultants, software developers, and ERP customer service representatives as needed to support business process activities or address ERP problems.
  • Assist with implementations and upgrades to the ERP systems in the areas of data migration, data validation, system configuration, table sharing, testing (including CRP and UAT) and documentation.
  • Manage ERP application documentation related to business processes. Document changes and update process flows as needed to maintain procedural governance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration/MIS/Logistics or a related discipline and a minimum of 6 years of experience in business systems, supply chain, application development, or similar.
  • Working knowledge of Infor ERP business software applications, preferably with Visual and Syteline.
  • Familiarity with SQL Server and SSRS.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including pivot tables, lookups, and VBA.
  • Very strong analytical ability, attention to detail, strong judgment, and problem analysis techniques.
  • Experience with data mining, analysis, and reporting.
  • Strong interpersonal skills--must be able to lead and work successfully on a team.
  • Ability to solve complex systems problems quickly with fragmented technical guidance.
