The NAM eMobility org, a highly visible, high-growth area for Schneider Electric, is seeking Senior Global Project Manager to join our R&D team, leading projects focused on creating and developing our EV chargers, internally or with external partners, and integration of the chargers into our eMobility system. This important role will importantly reinforce our development team in a cross-functional, multicultural, and international environment.

R&D Team

Reports to: Senior Director, NAM eMobility R&D

Mission

• Your scope will cover the development of our EV chargers and the execution of the corresponding road map of projects
  
  
• As a project manager, you will lead the activities all along the course of the project, from the definition of the value proposition for our typical customers / segments up to the launch and deployment
  
  
• You will build the project execution plan, including scope, resources, timeline, communication strategy, development, testing and maintenance steps
  
  

• Coordinate and synchronize a multi-skill, multi-location project team to deliver the offer on time with expected features and performance
  
  
• Supervise the successful execution of the project, monitoring progress and keeping a strong customer focus, with regular demos
  
  
• Manage synchronization with companion projects in other business units to secure our launch date
  
  
• Anticipate and mitigate the risks, manage the change requests to adjust the development strategy and minimize impacts on the timeline
  
  
• Actively participate in the evolution of the R&D team to adapt to the specific challenges of software and services activities

Background Characteristics

• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
  
  
• 5 year experience in project management, leading software embedded device projects in an Agile framework
  
  

• International Experience in Brand labelling, co-development, or other kinds of partnerships
  
  
• Working experience with China partners is a plus
  
  
• EV charging market experience is a plus
