HR & Recruiting Administrator

Intertek is searching for an HR & Recruiting Administrator to join the HR team in Kentwood, Michigan. This is a fantastic opportunity for an HR professional looking to gain experience in Recruitment, Onboarding, Employment Authorizations (I-9 & E-Verify), and other aspects within the HR department.

What you'll do:


  • I-9 Employment Authorization administrator: ensure compliance for all new hire I-9 and e-Verify processing
  • Track and report all employment authorization requirements for US employees
  • Assist employees with employment authorization questions
  • Process non-citizen employment authorization updates
  • Audit internal onboarding processes and provide feedback on process improvement
  • Monitor weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual recruitment reports for accuracy
  • Support and back-up the recruiting team with background request initiation and processing, as needed
  • Assist recruiting team in creating requisitions, screening applicants, and extending offer letters, as needed
  • Act as the primary Taleo Librarian including creating requisition templates, pre-screening questions, etc. in conjunction with the approval/consensus process
  • Maintain I-9 Level 6 users in HireRight and Taleo and perform other admin functions with HireRight as needed
  • Act as back-up to ATS Lead with recruitment process enhancements, trouble-shooting, and maintenance
  • Create and distribute recruitment dashboards and customer reports as requested
  • Other projects and duties as assigned

Qualifications

What it takes to be successful in this role:


  • High School diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Associates degree (preferred)
  • At least 1 year experience working in a recruiting or human resource environment (required)
  • Experience working with an applicant tracking system, such as Taleo (preferred)
  • Proven technical ability to learn new tools and systems quickly
  • Ability to successfully own a project from start to finish with minimal oversight
  • Familiarity with data analysis and Excel (or similar reporting tools)
  • Ability to creatively problem solve and use critical thinking identify the root of a problem
