Job Description:

Transwest Buick GMC has an immediate opening for a Receptionist in Henderson, CO. This position is accountable for first impressions of Transwest Buick GMC for customers and prospects. Candidates must have professional attitude, organization and customer service skills. In this position, you will be responsible for a wide variety of clerical tasks and receptionist work. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Direct all incoming calls and walk-ins customers in a cheerful and efficient manner.

  • Direct calls and customers to the appropriate GMC staff member.

  • Print and distribute reports, faxes and GM dealer communications.

  • Maintain the floor schedule.

  • Data entry.

  • Order and track supplies.

  • Create inventory reports.

  • Issue purchase orders.

  • Assist Sales Representatives as needed.

  • Other duties as assigned by the manager.

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL ABILITIES


  • Requires frequent sitting for prolonged periods of time in an office setting.

  • Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone, calculator and other office equipment.

  • Ability to communicate by providing verbal feedback in a professional manner.

  • Ability to receive and analyze data and input into the computer.

  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs.

  • Normal range of hearing and vision.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS


  • Must have High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • 1 year solid administrative experience.

  • MVR in good standing.

  • Superior communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Automotive/truck dealership experience is a plus, but not required.

  • Ability to multitask.

  • Excellent problem solving skills with all customers.

  • Demonstrate professionalism with customers over the phone and in person.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft programs.

  • Ability to successfully complete a General Abilities Assessment and pass post-offer background check, physical and drug screening.

DETAILS:


  • Type: Non-Exempt

  • Compensation Range: $17.00-$18.00

  • Bonus Eligibility: No

  • Reports to General Manager

  • Shift: Mon - Fri, 8:00am - 5:00pm
