Insitu is looking for a talented and enthusiastic early career Software Engineerto join a software development team advancing Insitu's unmanned aircraft systems.

As a member of the Software Engineering department you will:

• Be part of an Agile development team building software that includes user interface, application and embedded technologies




• Develop and test complex software using industry best practices

Our software engineers can work remotely or at our engineering building in Hood River, Oregon. This position supports either option. Hood River is a mecca for outdoor sports such as windsurfing, kiteboarding, mountain biking, hiking and skiing (plus many more).

Skills:

• Demonstrated strong technical skills,




• Experience with compiled programming languages, C++/C# preferred




• Demonstrated behavior of actively contributing to a team/group environment




• Good verbal and written communication skills




• Strong organization and time management skills




• Strong problem-solving abilities, careful attention to detail, open to taking direction and adapting to course corrections




• Knowledge of software development and testing tools, capability and usage.




• Ability to independently identify and address tasks

Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree of Science from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science.
